I’ll let you tactfully be the judge of who offered this piece of wisdom originally – Howard Newton, an American advertising executive or Isaac Newton, mathematician extraordinaire. Either way, it’s a good one!

  1. Two posts above yours in the tag column, the same quote was attributed to strong>Isaac Newton, and the search engines agree. Howard may have said this, loudly, and in public, but apparently he inherited this adage from his great, great-grandfather. 😯

    1. Hmm.. It’s funny because izquotes had the original pic I posted with a note that it was commonly mis-attributed to Isaac Newton, but then also had another pic with it attributed to Isaac! I included both.
